We’ve just had a week in Berlin, my first time there. Wow, what an amazing city. First impressions were: Very friendly, lots of smiles on the street and the Argentinian/Italian guy at the ice-cream shop was a hoot. Quick update – the circus has relocated again to Kiel (near Hamburg) where Merle’s parents live. Enjoying the great hospitality while Gwilym does a few bits of work for Unpackit and a new client. Next stop is Berlin for a week. Never seen it – very excited.
Our holiday is over and we are back at work, in Germany. Gwilym is now full time web-developing and Merle stepping in for graphic projects as needed.
As you can see, while this feed hasn’t been updated much, a lot has been going on over the last few months. We’ve been putting a lot of new sites live and also looking after Spiderweb Designs clients while Jo has been away. Too busy actually – which is why we’re off on holiday on [...]
Have been so busy building websites lately that I haven’t had time to write much up. Much of the work lately has been trouble-shooting for other web designers so not many major projects, sure to be some in the New Year though.
Having a bit of fun today making slideshows – so many options now in the Jquery slideshow plugin space. Am liking Colorbox (example) and while it doesn’t seem easy to customize using the Google PDF viewer in an iFrame is damn useful (example).
